The cut crystal shaft of the fountain form unusually engraved with anthemion the upper section with twelve scroll branches arranged on two levels these with scallop-edged turnover canopies and pine cones finials. The main receiver bowl with under canopy and finial the receiver mount surmounted by twenty-four candle branches arranged on two tiers these with corresponding canopies to the upper section these hung with eight-sided spangles and spear-shaped drops the branches surmounted with finely engraved hurricane shades the chandelier must likely be made for the India market because of the use of this type of shades.
